When it is necessary to be closer than 2 to 6 meters, every participant will wear a face mask and plastic face shield. Acordding with the peruvusn governement law we need to wear all the time the másk. For my personal point and experience and what i readed the outdoors distance air and conditions dont make necesary to wear a másk. I consider only when you get close to people or other participantes that are not in your family or close ones.
• Tours and expeditions
You will bring your own personal supply of hand sanitizer, wipes, rubbing alcohol, face masks and a face shield. While maintaining social distance of 2 to 6 meters from other people, your mask is needed to be cover But far away from that like 10 or 20 meters and your are alone while your are hiking or trekking then just below your chin ready to be use in case you get close to other people . A face mask is mandatory every time you will be less than 2 meters from another person. As well avoid places and point with a lot of People during your tour or alone walking in each place.
• Transportation and Communication
Your driver and guide will be isolated behind a barrier inside the bus. Guests will be spaced inside the bus, with windows open for ventilation. All of our trips use private tour buses that can accommodate our small groups safely. Additional sanitizing supplies will be available as needed. As well there will be a place to wash our shoes before we get inside the bus.
In the bus, the guide will communicate with the guests by microphone. Out site radio and WhatsApp. To avoid the risk of spreading germs through speaking loudly, the guide will use a microphone.
Outdoors, communications for all tours, hikes, treks and other adventures will be done with a microphone, radio, and WhatsApp.
• Social Distancing
While you are trekking, hiking, or walking you will maintain a distance of 3 to 4 meters from each other, depending on the adventure. The guide will always explain clearly.
WhatsApp will be used for constant and close communications. While rafting you will be at a distance of 2 meters from other guests with only 4 guests per raft, plus the river guide. On mountain bikes and for other multi-sport activities you will maintain a distance of 4 to 6 meters. While walking, hiking and exploring in Manu you will be 3 meters apart and communication will be at a minimum because you will want silence in the forest to fully appreciate all the unique sounds of that wonderful, natural environment.

If you are concerned about being in remote regions on your visit to Peru, our tour options include day-trips which would be considerably simpler for you to prepare for and would expose the you to less people.
